The event went well, present at the ceremony were Myself, Eckner, Eckner's Mom, Denise (godmother), Luc (godfather), Todd my cousin, and Matthew our eldest.

This is the best I could do to get them together in a picture. Matthew is adjusting as well as can be to Michael.

I just realized that I didn't add any pics of my 3 boys together! Here they are! This is Matthew, Michael and their Daddy.

One month already!!

I'm thrilled to say that Elijah is a month old today! I can't believe how much he's grown in just a month. I can only imagine what another month will bring! He's up to 10 pounds and 23 inches long, up almost 3 pounds and 3 inches from birth. He's gotten to be quite the little chub, but I know that he's getting what she needs. Look how cute he is!

I, on the other hand, am not getting what I need- sleep! I am shocked at how little sleep I can survive on, but I crave it. I fantasize about sleeping in, comfy pillows and soft pj's. I guess that makes it slightly worse, but a girl can dream can't she? Oh wait, I haven't dreamt in at least a month! I just keep reminding myself that most babies sleep through the night around the time they reach 11 pounds, so I only have one more pounds to go. In the meantime, I'll enjoy the lovely daydreams of a fluffy white comforter...pj's...sleeping horizontally..

Introducing Michael Elijah Joseph to the world. Michael or Elijah (as we plan on calling him at t home) was born June 28, 2008. I must say the labor and delivery was very easy. Elijah was born 7lbs 1oz and is now 4 weeks old weighing 10lbs and 5 oz. He is doing well and Matthew is adjusting to him as any 2 year old soon to turn 3 year old can.

One of my favorite pictures of Matthew and I. He was 14 months old in that picture. He is just brings absolute joy to my life.
